How to Use: Disengage the IDT™ System Turn off the Integrated Dual Feed if your machine has this feature. Remove the Presser Foot Holder Loosen the presser foot holder screw completely and remove the foot holder from your machine. Attach the Foot Place the Open Toe Free-Motion Foot around the presser bar and use the included screw to secure it in place. Be sure the metal arm on the foot rests above the needle clamp for proper spring action. Hint: Lower the needle slightly to help position the foot’s guide above the needle clamp more easily. Thread Your Machine Thread both the top and bobbin as usual. Select Your Stitch Choose either a straight stitch or a zigzag stitch (with a max width of 5.0 mm).
